Fantastic weekend at the BRC National Horse Trials Championships, with both our 70 and 80 teams producing some excellent performances. Katie Walton and Tropical Reward delivered a superb clear cross-country jumping round, with Kate Batley and Kim Scott also putting in strong rounds. There was a brilliant result for Sophie Robinson and Prince Armani, who finished an impressive 5th place, while Lucy Ohlson and Lucy Bartram also represented the Club with fantastic performances. Congratulations to everyone involved on a great weekend of competition and another strong showing for Darlington & District Riding Club at national level.
E Riders Online Dressage – Joanne Jones and Tiggy won the Medium class, Millie Easby and Cobby took 6th in the Elementary, Lucy Hixson and Cloud finished 8th in the Novice, Team Darlington Blue – Joanne Jones, Kate Batley, Carolyn Walton and Victoria McLaren – finished 11th, while Team Darlington Pink – Lucy Hixson, Millie Easby, Annabel McLaren and Katie Walton – finished 16th.
